Professor Zahrah Saad

Professor Zahrah has extensive working experience as a staff nurse in Government Hospitals early in her nursing career before becoming a Nurse Educator. She was the Principal, Alor Setar College of Nursing for 8 years and Principal, Malacca College of Nursing for 5 years. Currently she is the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing at Malaysian Allied Health Science Academy (MAHSA). Her expertise includes management, nursing ethics and corporate culture. She has also presented several papers on Nursing Education in Malaysia and current issues in nursing, nursing process and evidence base practice.
Her special areas of interest include curriculum development, training, human resource, and general issues in nursing. She has participated in many nursing seminars, congresses and workshops both at national and international level. As part of her ongoing personal and professional development, is currently pursuing her PhD in Educational.
